PR agency FleishmanHillard has appointed Munavar Attari as GM of its Mumbai office.
Mumbai, July 11, 2016 – With a strong start to 2016, FleishmanHillard in India is bolstering its leadership team. Munavar Attari has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of FleishmanHillard’s Mumbai office.
Attari leads a growing team and portfolio of clients covering multiple industries. He will oversee FleishmanHillard’s Mumbai client relations and a growing team of specialists.
Attari has 15 years of experience across corporate and editorial work and communications agencies. In his last agency position, he served as one of the lead executives for the Tata Group account.

Attari has worked with companies such as Symantec, Oracle, Blackberry, Taj Group, Tata Docomo, Tata Trusts, Jaguar Land Rover, Amazon and Blue Star Group amongst others, and his last position was as a senior leader on the Tata Group business with Rediffusion/Edelman. This account in particular gave him exposure to a number of sectors at some of India’s most valuable business groups. At FleishmanHillard, Attari will add to the agency’s focus on strategic public relations, top-tier media relations, issues and crisis management and stakeholder communications. Attari also has editorial and market research experience and has been responsible for content development for a weekly publication on capital investment in India.
